R+D+i

The Burés plant in Sant Boi de Llobregat includes a totally automated greenhouse, shade house, experimental fields for plant testing and a fully equipped laboratory for analysis, quality control and design of new products.

The Burés laboratory is the only private laboratory in Spain which uses the methods set out by the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) and approved by AENOR for the analysis of cultivating substrate and soil improvers..

Our company is qualified to comply with the requirements set out in the Regulation Spanish Law RD 865/2010, of July 2nd, on cultivating substrate.

The activities of the R+D+I department at Burés are centred on the analysis of soil and growing media produced and supplied by Burés. Daily controls are carried out on the commercialized products,, both packaged and bulk, to check their quality. Research is also carried out into new ranges of products which respond to the changing needs of the market and to a more integrated and environmentally friendly type of gardening.
